Movie: Ratatouille (2007)

“A rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great French chef despite his family’s wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the sewers of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Despite the apparent dangers of being an unlikely – and certainly unwanted – visitor in the kitchen of a fine French restaurant, Remy’s passion for cooking soon sets into motion a hilarious and exciting rat race that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down. Trivia: The French waiter in the trailer talking about the cheeses is voiced by the film’s director, Brad Bird.

Goofs: Continuity: In the beginning of the movie, when Remy and Emile (Remy’s brother) decide to cook the mushroom on the chimney they are struck by lightening. After flying off the roof and landing on the ground their fur is obviously standing up in all directions with a singed look too it. Seconds later they run into the house to retrieve the saffron for their concoction, but their fur is magically all back in place and smooth as if nothing happened. Nothing occurs in between that would explain how their fur was fixed.
